Our NHS Treatments
We provide the whole range of NHS dental care for the whole family. We offer comprehensive patient-centered care for those patients who prefer to receive their general care on the NHS.
Unfortunately we are currently unable to accept any new NHS patients.
At present we only accept NHS patients via the NHS waiting list for Cornwall. So all prospective NHS patients will need to join that list in order to become our patient in the future. We do not have our own waiting list and we do not take on patients who have not joined the Central waiting list for Cornwall.

Prevention of tooth decay and gum disease
We are particularly concerned to work with you to help prevent problems in the first place. We will ask you details about your health and lifestyle which will help us to give you the best advice with regard to diet and fluoride and the best oral healthcare techniques for you.
Children's dental care
We take special care of children and aim to make their visit instructive and fun. We encourage children to attend with the rest of the family for routine care from the earliest age. We particularly encourage preventive care including fissure sealants to protect the surface of back teeth from decay.
Crowns
Dental crowns are used to restore and enhance teeth that are damaged, or to take the place of missing teeth. A crown, also referred to as a cap, is used to entirely cover a damaged tooth. A crown not only strengthens a tooth, but it can drastically improve a tooth’s appearance, shape and alignment. On the NHS crowns can be all metal, or have an inner metal core to give it strength and an exterior porcelain wrapping to make it more toothlike.
Bridges
A bridge is a fixed replacement for a missing tooth or teeth. It's made by taking an impression of the surrounding teeth, which will eventually support the bridge. A bridge is usually created from precious metal and porcelain and will be fixed in your mouth (unlike dentures, which can be removed).
Dentures
We can replace missing teeth with plastic or metal-based dentures. Partial dentures can have increased retention with clasps around remaining teeth.
Denture Repairs
We are able to arrange denture repairs for regular patients of the practice to be completed on the NHS free of any charge.
