Tooth whitening is an effective and easy way of lightening your teeth without damaging the tooth surface. It is something that only dental professionals registered with the General Dental Council, like our dentists and dental therapist, are allowed to perform.
The Elite White whitening system can deliver the smile you want without the usual discomfort associated with tooth whitening
You will need to have an initial consultation before you can go ahead with teeth whitening treatment, to double check your teeth are suitable. During this consultation, we will:
- Check that your teeth and gums are healthy and suitable for whitening*
- Discuss the associated cost
- Give you an idea of how long treatment will take.
At the practice, we use a whitening agent called Elite Whitening.
Your dentist/therapist will make you custom-made trays to fit your teeth and will demonstrate how to use the whitening gel.
You will then be given a take-home kit, along with instructions to follow until you achieve your desired result. This usually takes around 2 weeks.
So, whether you want to add a sparkle to your smile for a special occasion, or you just fancy treating yourself, teeth whitening is one of the easiest ways to enhance the look.

*Tooth whitening will not change the colour of existing restorations (crowns, fillings, veneers etc.), and these may need to be changed for cosmetic reasons following whitening.
